Dr. Ali’s love for animals and keen interest in biology led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine from an early age. She grew up in West Vancouver where she first started spending time working in veterinary clinics and volunteering at the SPCA. She completed her Bachelor of Science at McGill University in Montreal and graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2016.
During her studies, Ali travelled through Africa, volunteering at monkey sanctuaries and rehabilitation centres in Kenya and South Africa. She was always interested in wildlife medicine but her feline obsession ultimately led her to work with companion animals.
When not at work she enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling and hanging out with family and friends.
